Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Multi Player applications for Android, Android TV and Windows (the “App”) and the website at multi-player.site (the “Site”), together the “Service”. By downloading, installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Multi Player is

Multi Player is a media player and library manager. It lets you organise and play IPTV playlists, live channels, movies, series and local media files that you provide and that you are authorised to access. Multi Player does not supply, host, stream, sell, resell or otherwise provide any television channels, playlists, subscriptions or media content. Any content you play through the App comes from sources you configure yourself.

2. User-provided content and sources

You may add your own sources to the App, such as an Xtream Codes account, an M3U/M3U8 playlist URL, or local media files. You are solely responsible for the sources you add and the content you access through them. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • you own, or have all necessary rights, licences, permissions and consents to access and play the content you configure; and
  • your use of that content complies with all applicable laws and with the terms of your content or service provider.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • access, stream, download or distribute any content that you are not legally authorised to use, or that infringes the intellectual-property or other rights of any third party;
  • engage in piracy or any unlawful activity, or facilitate any such activity;
  • circumvent, disable or interfere with security or access-control features of the Service or of any content source;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
  • overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure; or
  • resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access to devices or accounts that violate these Terms.

4. No ownership of your content; no responsibility for third-party streams

Multi Player claims no ownership of the playlists, credentials, streams or media you provide. As a player, we do not control, endorse, verify or assume responsibility for any content delivered by your chosen sources, including its availability, legality, accuracy or quality. Any dispute regarding that content is between you and your content or service provider.

5. Accounts, trials and activation

Some features require an account or an active entitlement. A free trial may begin automatically when you first launch the App; the length of the trial and any subscription terms are determined by us and may change. Continued access after the trial requires an activation (subscription) issued to your device or account, including through our WhatsApp activation flow. Our servers are authoritative for all time-based entitlements — the device clock is never trusted. Activations may be limited to a number of devices, may be time-limited or lifetime, and may be revoked for violations of these Terms. Unless required by law, activations and any fees are non-refundable.

6. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account or device. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

7. Software, updates and availability

We may update, modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Some updates may be required for the Service to keep working; if you do not install a required update, parts of the App may stop functioning. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.

8. Intellectual property

The Multi Player name, logo, App, Site and their software, design and content (excluding your user-provided content and third-party metadata) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Third-party services

The App uses metadata from The Movie Database (TMDB) to enrich your library. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Your use of third-party services and content is subject to their respective terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, or that any content accessed through your sources is lawful, available or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MULTI PLAYER OR ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY CONTENT ACCESSED THROUGH SOURCES YOU PROVIDE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Multi Player and its owners from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content sources, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account at multi-player.site/account/delete. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or on the Site. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
